Blondes don’t need to be left out when it comes to permanent make brows or micro-bladed brows.

If you’re blonde haired or fair haired, you will know that during the summer months blonde brows will go even blonder in the sun.

For some clients, this means that their brows will practically disappear to the lightest blonde.

Unless you want to have an eyebrow tint every few weeks you probably thought that the only option was an eyebrow pencil.

So read on and let me enlighten you about the delights of permanent make up brows or micro-bladed brows.

What are permanent make up brows or micro-bladed brows?

Permanent make up or microblading is a cosmetic tattoo that creates either hair-like hairstrokes or a powdering effect on the brows (or even a combination). This creates shape and definition to the brow without the need for a regular daily make up application.

You may have seen permanent make up in darker shades and thought permanent make up or microblading is just not for you because of how dark they look! This is not the case as permanent make up brows or microblading brows is not just for dark haired clients.

There are so many new shades that are perfect for grey hair, light haired and blonde clients. The permanent make up artist is therefore no longer limited to a small palette of darker shades.

So what does that mean for blonde haired clients?

It means that you too can have beautifully shaped and defined eyebrows. Not just now, but all year round and in a shade that reflects your natural colouring and looks natural.

What is the benefit of permanent make up or microblading?

A good brow will lift the shape of the eye and define the eye (almost like a mini eye lift). By providing more definition to your eyes, a good brow shape can knock years of your perceived age.

It also saves on that daily make-up application as well as those hit and miss shaping disasters. It’s perfect for that make up free look and holidays as well as sports.

In both cases either a very fine blade (microblading) or a fine needle (or group of needles) is used to deposit pigment into the upper level of the dermis which creates strokes appear crisp and very fine. I can advise which method is best for you and your skin.

Who is permanent make up good for?

Regardless of how thick or sparse your eyebrows are naturally, either method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows with realistic looking brows.

Microblading and digital permanent make up is perfect for any client with conditions that create hair loss. It’s also ideal for clients that are simply looking to create more fullness or definition to the shape of their brows.

What colour should I have?

The pigments used are formulated to match your original eyebrow colour. If the natural eyebrows are still present, they will blend perfectly to match the natural bows. This results in a natural, perfectly defined looking brow.

How long do the results last for?

Microblading results can last anywhere from 9 to 12 months.

Permanent make-up will last 12 to 18 months. This does depend on different factors affecting each client before a maintenance treatment is required. You will be informed during your private consultation, which method is best for your skin type and lifestyle.

A touch up or maintenance is recommended to retain the shape and colour.
